In a paper written by late professor Russell Schuh titled Text and performance in Hausa Metric he tried to study the meter he named it anti Mutadarak.

He put Shata's poetry "Don Sallah da salatul fatih** don Allah Mata kui Aure" and two other poetries as case of study, but in transcription of the word salatil fatih he refer salatil fatih to fatiha which is wrong, and even he wrote this
"The fatiha is opening verse of Quran often used as invocation or benediction. As sung by chorus, the syllable TIH is never audible, Hausa speakers who helped me transcribe this song insist that it is there, and there is certainly a rhythmic pulse to accommodate it in the performance. "

So even this is a prosodical matter, and I agree with those Hausa natives that the Tih in the performance is there, the only thing happen is when the chorus crossing from one stanza to another may the long syllable became slightly in a way or the other, but it is necessary to say that Prof did not get the right Hausa natives who know the real meaning of salatil fatih, hence he wrote wrong about the meaning of Salatil fatih in thus poetry.
